If you answered “yes” to all of these, then you just might be Buzz12’s next Director of Accounts, a brand-new position we’ve created to keep up with the growing demands of our fabulous client base.

We want all of our clients to have daily access to a senior-level member of our team, and owners Phyllis Neill and David Sher are running out of hours in the day!

This Director of Accounts will serve as the primary point person for our clients. He/she will develop strong relationships with our clients  and become extremely knowledgeable about our clients’ businesses.

The perfect person for this role will have a strong marketing and PR background, an entrepreneurial mindset, a charismatic leadership style, the ability to work tirelessly to make our clients successful, and live in Birmingham Alabama.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Daily interfacing with clients and responsible for overall client satisfaction.
  • Project management of all client projects.
  • Strong interface and coordination with Buzz12 staff members (writers, graphic designers, WordPress folks, etc.) to meet project deadlines.
  • Assistance with developing client project strategy.
  • Creation, maintenance, and reporting of appropriate monthly metrics.
  • Collaborates with others internally and externally to ensure timely promotion and communication regarding key client initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of ten years’ experience working in an account management or marketing capacity.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience working in a senior management capacity.
  • Ability to work productively and successfully in a virtual office environment (Buzz12 is a virtual company with no physical office)
  • Business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) experience
  • Familiarity with how businesses use social media and digital marketing.
  • Must have exceptional writing, editing and grammatical skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and outstanding organization skills.​
  • 4-year college degree required.
  •  Must have own computer with high-speed access to the internet.
  • A tiny bit of smart-ass in you.
